Orridge EU has made excellent progress, strengthening our organisational structures and the services on offer. Expansion in Europe continues in this important area of growth.
Strong relationships with existing UK clients helped initial growth in Europe because we were able to offer operational consistency as our service reached the new territories that our custiomers did; this, combined with the introduction of completely new European accounts, has significantly strengthened our stocktaking position. We centralise our operations in Benelux and Germany, cost-effectively meeting the demands of our EU customers.
We currently operate in more than 20 countries, servicing accounts on varying scales including large multinational retailers. Accordingly, we have built a very strong field operations structure, including personnel that speak the languages in which they operate. In Europe Orridge has earned a reputation for high service standards.
