Expansion into hardware, confectionary and grocery.

Orridge & Co and Ernest J George merge.

Pioneering hand-held barcode-scanning technology is introduced.

Substantial growth of retail stocktaking.
1998-99
Selected twice as European Top 500 company for growth.
2001
Management buy-out of the business.

Acquired by Christie Group.
2003
Next phase of scanning technology purchased to incorporate RF technology.
2004
Expansion of the training and recruitment team.
2005
AS Watson choose Orridge as sole-supplier in the UK. Merger with Venners retail stocktaking division.
2006
Entry into the supermarket arena through a contract with the Co-operative Food. Introduction of our wireless LAN technology.
2007
Further expansion into Europe. New offices in Harlow spearheading the ongoing European expansion as well as sales and marketing.
2008
Long-term contract secured with WH Smith. Field supervisors equipped with wireless technology.
2009
Employee and client web portal launched. Sound footing established in Europe, backed with strong European Management team.
2010
Introduction of Tablet PC checking solution. Long-term contract secured with The Co-operative Food
2012
First franchise agreement signed covering Germany and associated territories, augmenting stocktaking activities in Europe.
2014
Web-based management reporting is introduced as a service supplement for subscribed customers, providing a greater depth of data analysis, accessible with ease.
2017
Divisional structure is realigned by separating pharmacy, retail and supply chain into 3 separate businesses, reflecting the distinctness of these key markets.
