Training

Identifying and recruiting the best people is key. Training and ongoing development of our people is equally important.

Each Orridge regional team has a dedicated recruitment and training officer, to develop the skills of both field management and their stocktakers.

All new recruits engage in an initial training programme then, once successfully completed, the team member is regularly assessed during a trial period in live stocktake environments. A mentor is on hand during the development period, for advice during those initial stocktakes.

Our regional management teams make regular stocktake visits and provide guidance to all our stocktake teams' members. Support and development is always there for those that need it.

Our training and recruitment officers strive to identify those within their stocktake teams that have potential to progress further, supporting Orridge’s policy of promoting from within whenever possible.

Through an efficient training and assessment programme and staff support structure, Orridge is able to maintain the strong workforce its customers need.

As a prospective Orridge stocktaker you can be confident that a short, medium and long-term support structure will be available to you.

Orridge is firmly established as a leading stocktaking service provider on a pan-European basis
